Loved the attention to detail and was blown away that the host had left easter eggs there, just a beautiful touch, the grand kids loved them. The facilities were excellent, the house was well equipped with everything you needed, we cooked a family roast on the Sunday and everything was there. The outdoor entertainment area was great to relax and watch a bit of footy and have a quiet drink with family and friends.

This cottage is a piece of history. Forget staying in modern, bland surroundings, it is a wonderful experience to stay here. Our friendly hosts shared stories of the cottage, the days of early Encounter Bay and the lives of the people who lived here. The cottage has been lovingly restored, and you will find absolutely everything to make your stay comfortable. We received a lovely welcome card, chocolates and wine on arrival. There is so much to do around the area and a restaurant and general store 5 doors down the road. The gardens of Yelki by the Sea are beautiful and the location is perfect, right opposite the beach with views of the Bluff. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
