The tent provides a barbecue, as well as a shared bathroom featuring a shower. The unit offers 1 bed. I booked a 3 night stay at De Kuilen Nature Reserve to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. What a memorable stay and celebration. The weather wasn't great which made our stay even better. The Springbok House has a cozy fire place that warms up the entire place. Don't bother packing anything, the house was fully equipped - right down to a Potjie pot. If I can give you one tip, follow Matimba's directions to the T. We got a bit lost (entirely our own fault) but superhero Matimba checked in with us multiple times and guided us back on track. I have never had such a friendly and relieved face greet me! Down to Matimba. This man plays so many roles, Reserve Manager, Ranger, Host, Guide, Photographer and the list goes on. We had the honor of going on a game drive with Matimba - what a Blessed drive! To see the love and passion for wildlife in Matimba's eyes is truly something special. I strongly believe Matimba's compassion, warmth and friendly welcome made our stay worth more than words can explain. Well done to you Sir Matimba!

These tented suites feature a private wooden deck and an en suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Beautiful place. Very good service.

These luxury tents are situated on the side of the Simonsberg Mountain, with views of the Franschhoek, Paarl and the Drakenstein mountain ranges. Each tent features a private deck with sun loungers. Location was fabulous - in the middle of a wine estate. Separate bungalow, good size, well appointed with great kitchen facilities. Real wood heater stove was very cosy as it was quite cold in the evenings. Breakfast was excellent - good choice of buffet with additional food cooked to order. Also an excellent hike around the hills of the estate arranged by the staff.

What an amazing place to stay! You can see the animals from the lodge, if you are lucky you might see a hippo... we did the safari and had lunch/breakfast over there. Both were great!! We felt like a part of the family here and were sad to leave... We recommend this of you want to be away from the busy world and if you adore nature in a calm, superfriendly atmosphere .

Featuring a terrace with views of the nearby lake and Outeniqua Mountains, this tent comes with a seating area, refrigerator and electric kettle. The tents are just amazing. It was our second time there. The ice-cream they sell is the best in the whole world. Their baby cows are so cute. The bubble bath is just to die for - really so wonderful. I would come back here again!

Includes game drives for half and full board bookings. These twin tents are located within an eco-friendly bush camp, set in a valley in the heart of the game reserve. Truly an exceptional experience - the lodges are beautiful with incredible views, the landscape is vast and stunning, and getting so respectfully close to the animals was unforgettable: we saw the Big 5 within the first two of our game drives thanks to our great guide Felix, a total pro. Best choice among all the many reserves!

Surrounded by Karoo fynbos and within a few metres of the watering hole, these luxury tents provide an elevated view of the lodge and the surroundings. It is an awesome place with large room and good facilities. The views are stunning and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Their activities are also awesome and good value for money. The restaurant has delicious food with a cool view of the lake.

The executive tented suites are spacious with a separate large lounge area. Each unit is elegantly decorated in colonial style with 4-poster beds and mosquito nets. High end resort w the ability to go on amazing game drives. Such a unique experience.
