The environment and the view was incredible. The tents were very comfortable and well equipped. The Nkhulu team was very welcoming and helped us to make the most of our few days in the Kruger. The tents are incredible - very big and so luxurious inside. Even better than the photos. Whoever did the interior design has a great eye and really paid attention to the details. It also works well as a living space; both of us could stretch out in the living room and read our books, which is a rarity. Needless to say, the surrounding area is incredibly beautiful. We slept like babies with the sound of the stream right outside our tent, and appreciated the turn down service to make everything a bit cozier. We genuinely thought we were the only guests, but learned later that they were full up (and saw the other guests at breakfast). This speaks volumes about how private and secluded the tents feel. Zuannette and Arman, the couple running the retreat, really made our stay an 11/10. Zuannette was so helpful and accommodating even before we reached the property; she helped us organize a Valentine’s scarp drive and picnic on very short notice. We also enjoyed several of Arman’s meals (he is a talented chef and runs the restaurant). They are friendly and genuine but also run the place very professionally, which is not an easy balance to strike. I would definitely recommend an evening scarp drive and picnic, it was not just beautiful but also interesting to learn about the history of the place. Also impressed with the delicious spring water! I could go on but please go and see it for yourself, you won’t regret it!

This tent has a balcony, microwave and satellite TV. Set 25 miles from Dullstroom, Valley Of The Rainbow Estate features a garden and barbecue. Verloren Valei Nature Reserve is 40 km away. Tranquility and great fishing for trout (brown and rainbow) and largemouth bass. Another highlight was the perfectly kept green lawn around the dams. We were all barefoot for most of the time. bliss

Situated in Manyeleti Game Reserve, Buffelshoek Tented Camp offers a garden and barbecue. Sabi Sand Game Reserve is 34 km away. Free private parking is available on site. The property was in Manyaleti and there were no fences. The animals were free to move around. We had hyenas, giraffe, elephants and lots of birds in our camp. Our game driver, Beksom, was unbelievable in the way he was able to find all the animals. We loved the simplicity of the camp. All the meals were excellent.

Life changing experience. We simply LOVED Willy and Retha and staff. We felt we had been friends for years. I cannot stop taking about our experience:) The decor and setting was magnificent.

Accessible only by 4x4 vehicle or high suspension vehicle, this camps is located on the Gitlane Moonsicle Iudo African Community Cultural Site. best view we ever had in South Africa, and breakfast, lunch and dinner is worth a Michelin Star!!

This tent features a balcony, air conditioning and private pool. Situated on the banks of the Komati River, Nkomazi Game Reserve offers luxurious tented accommodation on 15,000 hectares of land. The facilities were top notch. Everything was clean and modern. The rooms weee spacious and beautifully appointed. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and took your comfort as your first priority. Our guide Jonathan was knowledgeable and gave us some of the most memorable experiences on the reserve. We saw giraffes, zebras, lions, wildebeest, hartebeest, lumbar, elephants, leopard and every kind of antelope
