I was worried about staying at Little Mongena during winter. And I can confirm that you should not be concerned about visiting them during winter. The place was well positioned, and not far out of Pretoria. It really feels like you are in the bush. The place was spotless and has the best beds ever! Everything was well thought out with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The location allows for plenty of animal viewings, even from the deck. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. Would go back in a heartbeat!

This tent has a electric kettle, private entrance and seating area. The tents are well equipped and well Maintained. We spotted few animals passing by next to the camp. I loved everything about Thorn tree camp and will definitely do it again.
