Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya er en nyrenoveret campingplads i Bidiyah og har fælles opholdsstue. Der er sikkerhedsvagt hele dagen, og der er restaurant og solterrasse. The experience in camp was awesome. Location can be found from google map, nice room and facilities, room rate inclusive of dinner and breakfast, hotel provide additional program, e.g. sunset tour, camel tour, etc at extra fee (so your trip is not too boring). One thing to point is the staff are super helpful and friendly which are one of the most important factor for vacation.

The tent features a private entrance, a seating area, as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower and a bidet. The tent offers a barbecue, a sofa, as well as a terrace and a patio. We stayed only one night, but it was one of our favourite nights in Oman! The campsite is secluded enough - further from the city lights and other camps. You have enough privacy, silence and the sky full of stars. Rashid is a very nice owner, who is very welcoming, attentive, has great sence of humour and is an interesting person to talk to. So prepare all the questions you would like to have answered about Oman and Omanis! The food was great and the dune bashing was sooo much fun! :) Cannot wait to come back for more nights!

I think Said (the host) is one of the friendliest Omani I met during my trip. He is so kind and generous. It wasn't a busy day and I was the only guest that day, but we drove around in the dessert, meet some local Bedouin people and had a great BBQ and at the end of the day we shut down all the lights in the camp and looked at the stars. Had a wondefull time!

Not cheap, but definitely very pleasant stay - nice, magic, rustical place, all facilities and food sufficient indeed, guys running the camp professional, really different experience. 10-15 min walk above camp goats and (some)cute camels.

The tent offers a barbecue, as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. The tent features outdoor furniture. The unit offers 2 beds. Great stay, beautiful view, welcome atmosphere with lovely snacks and coffee on hand. A wonderful, safe experience for myself and my daughter.

Guests will find a stovetop, kitchenware and an oven in the kitchen. The tent also has a barbecue. Hamoods ørkencamp ligger i Al Wāşil i Al Sharqiyah-regionen og har balkon og bjergudsigt. Choosing a place to stay in the desert can be overwhelming as there are just so many options. We chose Hamood’s desert camp after hours of research, and simply put, we can’t imagine staying anywhere else. From the minute we met Hamood at the meeting point, he truly made us feel like part of his family. He is a natural host: extremely welcoming, funny, and kind. We stayed two nights (highly recommend) in this beautiful camp. There are only four total tents in the camp, as compared to some of the larger camps with dozens and dozens. The smaller camp made it so much more of an intimate experience. The food was homemade and delicious. Hamood built a campfire each night after dinner and we sat under the stars, enjoying the company and learning about Omani culture. All in all, if you are visiting the desert you must stay here! You won’t be disappointed.

Clear directions Desert driving (we made it without issues with Toyota RAV 4, 4wd) The place it self - we were lucky to be alone; the host was very kind; we were given a plenty of delicious meals, unlimited water and other drinks; everything was clean and comfortable.
