A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. La nostra tenda tripla era veramente molto bella. Il cibo al ristorante molto buono e vario. Il personale gentilissimo e disponibile! Lo consiglio e ci tornerei.

Il Nomadic Desert Camp si trova a Al Wāşil. In loco troverete un ristorante e un parcheggio privato gratuito. Al mattino vi attende una colazione continentale o a buffet. Unlike the other camps in the area, Nomadic desert camp is really surrounded by sand dunes. The camp is very authentic. The facilities are all clean and tidy.

Situato a Badīyah, nella regione Al Sharqiyah, il Sultan Private Desert Camp offre una terrazza. Questo campeggio di tende offre un parcheggio privato gratuito e un banco escursioni. L’esperienza è stata qualcosa di indescrivibile. Noi siamo andate ad agosto, periodo dove c’è poco turismo a causa delle alte temperature, in realtà si è rivelato veramente un periodo pazzesco per visitare l’Oman e tutte le sue meraviglie senza praticamente altri turisti. Il camp è situato in mezzo al deserto, lontano da altri camp; puoi arrivarci con il tuo mezzo (se è 4x4 e ovviamente accompagnato dalla guida) oppure pagando un surplus, puoi lasciare la macchina e ti accompagnano loro. Il deserto è veramente pazzesco, caprette e cammelli che passeggiano liberi, dune rosse e ciuffetti di erba che spuntano qua e là. Noi eravamo le uniche quel giorno. La nostra guida estremamente affabile, gentile e simpatica ci ha accompagnato alla nostra tenda. Cena e colazione inclusa buonissima. Ovviamente essendo andate in agosto nel deserto faceva abbastanza caldo e dormire in tenda era abbastanza faticoso, abbiamo messo i letti fuori e abbiamo dormito in mezzo al nulla sotto una luna piena meravigliosa. Ovviamente la nostra guida dormiva poco distante da noi e ci ha rassicurato che non poteva succedere nulla e di goderci questa incredibile esperienza a contatto con la natura. La mattina ci siamo svegliate e abbiamo fatto un tour di venti minuti con i dromedari. L’esperienza in generale è stata davvero emozionate e meravigliosa. Consigliamo tantissimo questo camping perché tutto quanto è stato magico e perfetto!!

Abbiamo messo 10 perché 15 non era permesso. Posizione incantevole, servizi eccezionali, cucina strabiliante, personale amorevole, pulizia e confort perfetti, accoglienza per famiglie ideale. Da solo questo soggiorno vale tutta la vacanza. Ci abbiamo lasciato il cuore.

Choosing a place to stay in the desert can be overwhelming as there are just so many options. We chose Hamood’s desert camp after hours of research, and simply put, we can’t imagine staying anywhere else. From the minute we met Hamood at the meeting point, he truly made us feel like part of his family. He is a natural host: extremely welcoming, funny, and kind. We stayed two nights (highly recommend) in this beautiful camp. There are only four total tents in the camp, as compared to some of the larger camps with dozens and dozens. The smaller camp made it so much more of an intimate experience. The food was homemade and delicious. Hamood built a campfire each night after dinner and we sat under the stars, enjoying the company and learning about Omani culture. All in all, if you are visiting the desert you must stay here! You won’t be disappointed.

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. Campo con solo 3 tende offre un’atmosfera molto tranquilla e rilassante . La tenda deluxe è spaziosa, con arredi tipici e tappeti e con bagno esterno privato. Colazione e cena abbondanti e varie . Personale gentilissimo.

We've been looking to find a great desert camp for one night, as we really wanted to view the "desert" and its beautiful sand dunes. After reading a couple of reviews and prices, we decided to stay at Alsarmadi Desert Camp, because most people loved the friendly staff hosting this camp. And the reviews were right! Unluckily our daughter turned sick during our stay in Oman, and we were not sure if we could make it in time to the meeting up (desert pick-up by 4wd-car). Prior the trip we went to a doctor, so we couldn't respect the schedule. but that wasn't a problem, the driver al farouk was super friendly and told us, that we should just text him the time of our arrival and he'd pick us up. as soon as we made it to the camp, we could see a baby camel, and were greeted by baby goats, that we could feed. we loved it, and so did our daughter. the camp is very clean, the rooms are spacious, and every tent has its own bathroom (very basic, but great for a desert). the location is perfect...all you see is sand. there are no other camps around, and you don't see any villages from the camp. the manager/owner Saeed was also super welcoming. The whole staff: camel guide, and cooking staff, were super welcoming. We had dinner and breakfast and couldn't complain. our favorite part was the sunset.. which is quite specacular, watching it from a sanddune.
