Set within a stunning historic rainforest and walking track, Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park offers 5-star accommodation with access to a garden... What a wonderful place to stop for the night. We stayed in one of the cabins which was compact but very comfortable. The shared facilities were fantastic, very clean with everything you need. Amazing views and 25 min hike up to the waterfall was lovely.

Rabbit Island Glamping sits privately from Rabbit Island Huts accessed via its own walk bridge. The glamping tent was awesome. Secluded spot, away from the rest of the accomodation. The view was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Featuring a private entrance, this air-conditioned mobile home is comprised of 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a hairdryer. Amazing tiny home in an awesome quiet, peaceful and elevated location with spectacular views down Akaroa harbour. 15 min drive into Akaroa but the tranquil peaceful location is magic. Accomodation is on a lavender farm and there are walking trails and full access to the rows of lavender. Lyn and Malcolm were exceptional hosts! Very friendly, kind and at tentative to our needs. Make sure to purchase some pacific blue lavender essential oil! Nice touches in the tiny house - with cushions that showcase the indigenous pigeons the place is named after and lavender water spray. Note that the toilet is a cassette toilet - this was not a problem for us - but it may be a surprise to others

We had a fantastic few nights staying at Pinot! The view was beautiful and the dome very comfortable. Sandy and Steve were wonderful hosts and brought us delicious breakfasts in the morning - the cheese scones were a highlight. Super relaxing stay!
