The property is absolutely beautiful! We had amazing views, so many birds singing for us, could enjoy some marshmallows around the bonfire and had a wonderful breakfast! The tent was super comfortable and spacious and last but not least we could admire a huge amount of Glowworm here! Definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent combination of rustic and outdoorsy whilst providing all the home comforts one would want. Great spot to charge an EV securely, excellent place for your pet/dog to roam around essentially freely, cozy fire-place, awesome bath-tub overlooking a serene view, and the cooking/bbq set up was awesome to entertain your significant other or friends. The best touch is that the accommodation will be privately reserved and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely rustic hideaway in tranquil setting, with bucolic views, birdsong chorus, piping hot woodfired hot tub and the most amazingly comfortable bed! Perfect couples retreat. Thoughtful touches like flashlights for nightime, a woodstove for chilly nights and farm breakfast supplies in the fridge. We wish we'd booked longer!

Set on a 6 acre valley of NZ bush, forest and orchard, Quirky Woods - Glamping Cabins at Maketu in Maketu offers 3 private cabins, barbecue facilities and a garden. Charlotte and Simon were amazing hosts and could not have done more us. Wonderfully quiet location and very good facilities.

Dellis and Sewell not only have a green thumb, but a gift to please all of their guests with the joy of gardening. Wish we could have spent more time here. Villas & Vines Glamping has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Hastings, 13 km from McLean Park. A very comfortable and well thought out accommodation. Loved the little extras from the hosts such as marshmallows for toasting over the fire. A beautiful setting, we loved our stay. Hosts were lovely and helpful, and we can’t wait to come back!

We arrived late due to a problem we had and they waited for us to check in, the location was wonderful. We rested and had a wonderful time staying there. The staff was always very concerned about making us feel comfortable.
