Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

The staff were superb. charming, kind and very knowledgeable. Avinka was incredible, his enthusiasm for the wildlife and leading us on our trek through the wilderness to find over 17 elephants was such a thrill. Mr Kumana was also so helpful and a great guide. the chef was very talented, considering we were in the jungle, the meals he created for us were some of the best we have had during our stay in Sri Lanka. Everyone we met during our two nights stay were just the sweetest people. The entire experience was fantastic and we totally recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy the joys of the Sri Lankan jungle with 5 star accommodation and food.

Athgira River Camp ligger ved Udawalawe National Park med udsigt til Rakwana-floden. Overnatningsstedet ligger meget tæt på Udawalawe Reservoir og Elephant Orphanage. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the pool area was nice. They arranged the safari to Udawalawe National Park. The driver took us around the park.

Madu was amazing as host. He made sure that all of the food was suitable for the 5 year old. He also arranged our Safari, which was great as well! We really like the "tents" - which were actually little houses, everything was super clean, and even though it was 35° outside during the day, we did not even need the AC during the night, as the tents are in between trees. We also like the access to the river for a swim in the morning, We definitely recommend to stay there!
