We loved the entire experience of being looked after by the owner Nilantha and Elizabeth and all the staff in such a lovely way but also being in such a simple and authentic environment. The dinner under the stars was standout. The food was great. The great conversations were so wonderful. The whole day safari was something we will always remember. So much care and passion from Nilantha and our driver. We absolutely loved it.

Our family recently visited Makini Bush Camp and we had an amazing time. The staff's kindness and helpfulness made our stay truly special. We were thrilled to witness incredible wildlife sightings, including graceful elephants, playful monkeys, and colorful birds. And the highlight of our trip was a breathtaking leopard sighting that left us in awe. The service provided was exceptional, and the staff went out of their way to engage our children. The cozy tented chalet allowed us to connect with nature while enjoying the comforts of a clean and well-maintained accommodation. We recommend Makini for families seeking a remarkable safari adventure with top-notch service and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Located 15-minute drive away from Yala National Park, Yala Dream Park features a garden and barbecue. Tissa Wewa is 8 km from the property. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Great concept. We appreciated the quiet and natural atmosphere during our stay. The safaris were great, the driver really tries to find animals and knows his job. Very good food and adventurous stay with safari tent or tree house.

We had a very nice stay at Camp Leopard. The rooms were larger than we got the impression from the pictures. Situated in Yala, less than 1 km from Situlpawwa, Kulu Safaris - All Inclusive features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and... Kulu Safaris is a completely exceptional place to stay in every way and it was the highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Our guide, Jeana, was very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan wildlife and a lovely person, we learnt a lot from talking to her on our safaris. We also went kayaking on the lake which was beautiful. The tents are so comfortable to stay in and it's a very peaceful location, surrounded by nature. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and we were served our meals in different locations around the site, which was beautiful and very romantic. It is expensive, but the safari and other activities is included, as well as all food and drink, and so I think it is definitely worth the money, particularly as Kulu is very eco-conscious and ensures minimal disruption to the wildlife. Overall, I couldn't recommend staying at Kulu more highly, and I hope to go back one day.
