We ate at restaurant nearby and the portions there were huge so we recommend that also. ☺️ the views were stunning and we woke up when birds started to sing. Very beautiful experience. The yurt provided a lot of comfort for a stay in the nature. It also provided enough space and plenty of options inside and outside for all activities, meals, enjoying the woodstove, and so on. The small terrace was also greatly appreciated for the breakfast. We also enjoyed the unobtrusive behaviour of the hosts.

Glamping & Camping is located in Vestmannaeyjar and has views of the mountains. All units include a seating area. Excellent location close to town, but in a serene location right in Herjólfsdalur with nearby trails up the mountain, and grazing sheep! Although I did not do the hike due to windy conditions, it was highly recommended by staff! Very cute and cozy cabins, and good shared kitchen and bathroom facilities just a short walk away.

Welcome to Godaland Guesthouse, where enchanting views of the Eyjafjallajökull glacier meet the cozy comfort of our standard rooms. The guesthouse is a very comfortable place to spend a night or even couple of them during warmer days as it's surrounded by nature, close to the road and nice views. The owners are extremely nice people and we enjoyed our one night there a lot! Kitchen was full of cereals, teas, different types of coffees there was even a delicious homemade cake. Everything was perfect, we spent the evening watching the northern lights from the hot tub. Wish we could have stayed longer.
