Guests will have a special experience as the mobile home provides a fireplace. The location is stunning and the caravan exceeded our expectations. The place is difficult to reach without a car, but it really worth the effort. The surroundings are beautiful and the caravan is close to Scafell Pike, Wast Water and other marvellous places in the West part of the Lake District. There are small shops at 15 minutes drive for emergency shopping, otherwise bigger supermarkets and shops are available in the closest cities such as Whitehaven.

Thornthwaite Farm is set amidst the scenery of the Woodland Valley, in Broughton-in-Furness. Lake Windermere is just 13 miles from the property. Fantastic views and wonderful walks from the property itself

Everything you needed including towels tea towels etc Host thought of everything with some treats left - and some for our grandchildren - not expected but appreciated and a lovely touch- correspondence with owner second to none- he really wanted to make sure we had a great time

Featuring a private entrance, this mobile home also comprises 2 bedrooms, a seating area and 1 bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Beauview was beautiful. Clean stylish, tidy and spacious. Really nice to have tea and coffee, shampoo and super fluffy towels. The site is wonderful a real hidden gem with the Lakeside Costal walks, Aqua Park and the Ski Bar we had all we needed on our doorstep. Our 2 boys 9 & 12 were very happy as were we. Hosts were very responsive and checked in on us. We would definitely be back. Infact we can’t wait to head back it was such a lovely place. We were lucky enough to enjoy sunny afternoons as the locals tell us it has its own micro climate.
