A perfect 4 days spent at this place. The roulotte was very clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals. There are a few big supermarkets close-by in the town of Maseveaux. We (young couple) arrived by car (I do not think there is another easy way to get there). Parking spot next to the roulotte. Fireplace available so you can make a grill or just enjoy the fire. The host provided us with all the wood we needed. There are a lot of mountain paths (from very easy to medium/difficult paths) you can take to see superb glacial lakes and scenery. Peace and quiet can be found here in abundance. If you need anything, the host will surely be there to help. Highly recommended

Had all the necessary facilities. Matras was a bit tough for my taste (but taste differs). Excellent place for a nice cycle or hike adventure in the Elzas. only thing I’d like to see improved is a wifi connection, as cellular service is quite poor at this location. Planning a cycling route was a bit of a challenge. Also, a new cottage is planned in front of the tent, I hope enough privacy remains for the tent!
