If you opt for dinner, every night you'll join the other guests for a home-cooked feast of Nubian dishes. After dinner, you can participate in the coffee ceremony, and enjoy live Nubian music played by Bassam and his family. Bassam can help you book tours and even join activities organized by　the hotel / family, such as camel-riding and sand-boarding. At the end of a day's activities, it feit like coming home - I was sad to leave.

The staff is very friendly, available and helpful. The boat rides to and from Aswan (about 15 minutes) are beautiful. We enjoyed the quiet location in the West bank, between the Nile and the desert. Huge clean room with A/C, comfy bed. Delicious big breakfast. Nubian village accessible by foot. Very nice walks on the dunes just behind the property. Nice outside space.
