Giacomo is a wonderful host, super friendly, and the accommodation is simply amazing. Nicest shower I’ve ever taken. The place is new and modern, with respect for nature. And there will be a pool soon!

Isla Chiquita Glamping Hotel has a restaurant, outdoor plunge pool, a bar and garden in Puntarenas. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Beautiful facilities. Friendly Staff. Excellent food. Quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding and Bioluminescence boat excursion. Watched the monkeys and saw some rays.

Tent set up in an elevated deck with panoramic views. Private kitchen fully equipped and private bathroom with amenities. We stayed in the Sunset Room, which was a truly amazing experience. The room itself (the tent) was spacious, and the adjacent kitchen well equiped with a nice minibar. Very good breakfast. The hot tub and the shower on the terrace were a marvelous experience. We were also pleased with the provided earplugs 🙂. We highly recommend a stay here - Glamping++!

This tent has a balcony, sea view and seating area. Offering a restaurant, Las Caletas Lodge is located in Drake Bay. Free Wi-Fi access is available in public areas of this lodge. Great location away from the main part of town, surrounded by lush greenery, lots of wildlife and very close to beautiful beaches and hiking trails. The food from Chef Eduardo was consistently high quality and varied during out stay, great choices for breakfast with a nice early start. We enjoyed having a packed lunch to take with us on long walks. The room and all the communal areas were very clean. Daniel was an excellent host, he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, he was especially helpful organising transfers for us.

This tent features a seating area, a patio, garden views and a shared bathroom. The unit offers 2 beds. The hosts were super nice, friendly and accommodating. Wilma stayed in my cabin to look after my pets one night so that I could go kayaking and see the bioluminescence in the harbor. You cannot beat this kind of customer care! Franco buit me a bonfire twice during my stay. You just have to ask and Wilma and Frano will do their best to accommodate you.The site itself is super quiet. I only had to look up to see monkeys, parrots and a great variety of birds. The kitchen was well equiped. I loved every minute of my stay there. Going to the beach was an adventure and my dogs loved the walk there. They struggled a bit crossing the river over a suspended log, but that was part of the adventure:) I only want to add that this is rough camping, simple and secluded. If this is what you are looking for, you will be in heaven.
