Located within 7.2 km of La Fortuna Waterfall and 6.3 km of Kalambu Hot Springs, Hotel Arenal Glamping features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Fortuna. The stay in here exceeded my expectations in many ways. I love the designs in the whole place, from the common area, the garden to the tent and its interior. It is a project designed by the owner and his daughter, who are both architects. The hotel is small and quiet, with less than 10 rooms, but has all the facilities - a gym, a yoga place, swimming pool, breakfast, hot tub and access to a small river.

The tent's kitchen, which features a refrigerator and kitchenware, is available for cooking and storing food. This tent has a desk, a patio, garden views and a private bathroom. The unit has 1 bed. AMAZING experience, coming here, is like experiencing the real Costa Rica. The staff was amazing, Johnny made sure we had the best time! The food was very good as well, we were 2 vegans and we always had plenty to eat. The location is far, yes, but that's what this place is all about. We saw all types of animals, and it gave us the most peaceful experience to be surrounded by so much nature.

Flora Glamping de Abuela has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Fortuna, 1.1 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. This was probably my favorite stay during my entire trip to Costa Rica. It was so beautiful waking up and seeing the volcano right outside your tent!!! It’s very romantic and just breathtaking. I would highly recommend this place.

The kitchenette is fitted with a refrigerator, kitchenware and a tea and coffee maker. The tents were brand new with a gorgeous view. The owners were also very helpful and recommended us activities in the area. The restaurant next door serves excellent breakfast.

Cabins totally in the forest. Very clean. Excellent meals prepared when possible with local if not their own products. Very welcoming ambiance. The staff (front desk and restaurant) are very nice, very dedicated, and do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. To live Costa Rica, you have to stay there!

Rooms are 5 square metres. Essence Arenal is an ecological hotel surrounded by Tropical Forest that offers a wellness center to tourists, it is surrounded by gardens and beautiful views of Lake... Wow! What a unique and stunning location! I booked a “tent” and was truly amazed at what we got. Sure, it’s technically a tent - built on a beautiful bamboo platform, with a queen size bed, and a dreamy balcony. The view is truly incredible. The entire staff was helpful, SO nice and accommodating. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there and it’s incredibly worth - the attention to detail and use of local ingredients was amazing. The whole ethos of permaculture they establish here is inspiring. I wish I had stayed longer!
