AMAZING experience, coming here, is like experiencing the real Costa Rica. The staff was amazing, Johnny made sure we had the best time! The food was very good as well, we were 2 vegans and we always had plenty to eat. The location is far, yes, but that's what this place is all about. We saw all types of animals, and it gave us the most peaceful experience to be surrounded by so much nature.

It's a local family owned business. We stayed there for 4 nights, and even before we got there we contacted the host: Evi, who helped us a lot with planning our stay at La Fortuna and book some attractions. The place has an amazing location! Just outside the city but 5 minutes drive so you can enjoy the quiet and the perfect view of the Arenal volcano and still feel close to the city. Evi was available for us at all times with every question or help we needed. The room was spacious and clean but take into account that the toilet and shower are in the same space as the rest of the room. However with only 2 glamping tents you can really feel the privacy. The shared kitchen was well equipped with all the things we needed, and was designed optimistically.

Pura Vista Glamping ligger i El Castillo de La Fortuna, tæt på Arenal Eco Zoo og 26 km fra La Fortuna-vandfaldet.... Beautiful property with an amazing view of Arenal Volcano. The hosts, Wendy and Roger, were so kind and accommodating. There are nearby restaurants and a small markets as well as activities. The Glamping yurts had a bed, futon couch, sink, fridge, coffee and tea, a/c, electrical and a shower. It was nicer than several hotels I’ve stayed in! And waking up to the volcano view every morning was breathtaking.

Out in nature. I had the tent which was great with a comfy double bed, lockable wardrobe, and balcony. These tents aren't your normal camping experience. There is a small spa on site which was very relaxing. The area is on a eco farm which they are slowly increasing in size. The food was good all locally grown (much of it by themselves) vegetarian and organic. The staff were super friendly and helpful. When the clouds cleared what a stunning view of Arenal volcano and lake Arenal. I had such a relaxing time. It's about a 40 minute drive from la fortuna.
