The place is just amazing, it's the definition of tropical paradise. Lazing in the hammocks all day with a Coco Loco was the definition of chill. The real plus of this place was the wildlife, the monkeys, birds, iguanas and pigs that are constantly around give the place a really wild feel even if they are rescued animals. Reading previous reviews about staff being rude, we initially felt the same and undoubtedly some of the staff were a bit moody to begin with but after a day they opened up a bit and were super friendly, knowing a little Spanish and returning your cups to the bar went a long way. We also expected the worst from the food reading previous reviews but actually found it not only to be reasonably priced but really good. I think other reviewers may be long term travellers/backpackers and not used to having to pay $10 twice a day for a meal, but if you're on vacation for 2-3 weeks it felt very reasonable. Our room was great, we stayed in the treehouse and although it was very basic the whole aesthetic added to the tropical island vibe. Would 100% recommend this place.

The staff were lovely and super helpful. The swimming dock next to the property was a highlight. The snorkeling tour was outstanding, a once in a lifetime experience. They offered meals at the property and the food was delicious, such a treat after hiking and swimming all day. A place like this restores anyone’s faith in what sustainable tourism can be like.

This tent features a shared bathroom, a private entrance and garden views. The unit offers 1 bed. Wow. The campsite is run by the local legend Gregorio an amazing guy. He made us feel very at home and was so kind to us. We learnt loads about life on the island for the locals the good and the bad. He had loads of cool tours for us too. The best was fishing for barracuda, so cool. We managed to catch three and an egg fish which he helped us cook together that night. He gave us coconut and taught us how to cook plantain and coconut rice. A lovely place and a lovely guy, thank you Gregorio!
