Went to Orford for the eclipse. The Pods were terrific, living up to the ratings by previous visitors. The proprietor was friendly and helped us with any requests we had. There's a nice trail to a Sugaring Shack (about a mile) that we walked; a bit muddy with snow this time of year, but worth going. All in all we had a great time!

The completely ecclectic and colourful decor is visual eye candy (totally IG worthy)! The bathroom was modern, stunning and sparkling clean. The pillows, duvet and sheets were plush and soft. Lea was amazing! She answered all of our questions. She also gave helpful suggestions for breakfast and dinner alternatives when the restaurant was closed. Not only would I recommend this motel but I would also go back to stay in the different rooms and trailer :)

The yurt was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and stocked with everything you could need. The staff and owners are very friendly and hospitable. The lake is pristine and quiet. We felt very much at home and relaxed. We are sure to return for another week next year.

Situated in Rouyn-Noranda, Les Racines du p'tit Isidore has a terrace. Guests staying at this tented camp have access to a balcony. Beautiful location, just a short walk from the parking lot but you're quickly immersed in the wild. The family who runs the site is so friendly and the yurt was incredibly well supplied. Be warned: cell service is spotty, and there is no wifi. But that came like a breath of fresh air, being able to disconnect completely.
