My husband and I had the pleasure of spending the last 2 nights of our honeymoon at Summerfields Retreat and Spa, and it was an absolutely magical experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the staff, especially Mariana, who went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Her attention to detail and genuine care made us feel truly welcomed and pampered throughout our time at the resort. The amenities at Summerfields Retreat and Spa are top-notch. Our room was beautifully appointed, with luxurious furnishings and breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. We enjoyed relaxing in the spa, indulging in decadent treatments that left us feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible food. Each meal was a culinary delight, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared to perfection. We looked forward to dining at the restaurant every day, eager to sample the delicious creations of the talented chefs. But perhaps what stole our hearts the most was the adorable in-house cat Whiskas who became our unexpected companion during our stay. We formed a special bond with him and were sad to leave without saying goodbye, assuming he was busy with his cat activities. We hope he is doing well and look forward to visiting again someday, perhaps to see him grown into a regal feline. Overall, our experience at Summerfields Retreat and Spa was nothing short of magical. It's a place where every detail is thoughtfully curated to ensure the utmost comfort and enjoyment of guests. We left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and with memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. We cannot wait to return to this little slice of paradise. We were completely amazed! It is situated right IN the Kruger, means, you will have wildlife encounters while lying on the pool or enjoying dinner. The food was exceptional with great quality ingredients (I saw a big "Bio" truck delivering the ingredients). We ordered take away breakfast as we started early our game drive which was exceptional too. Outdoor AND Indoor shower which we loved! Numbi gate is a short drive 15 min drive away. Absolutely THE DEAL for visiting Kruger

From the beggining everything was perfect. All staff were very caring and polite. This was not my first time at the place but everytime I visit it is getting better. Beds were also very comfortable and clean.

We loved being surrounded by nature, the serenity of the location is to die for. The exceptional service from staff and management team; they really went out of their way to give us a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the private pool and spacious rooms offering breathtaking views of the mountain and the river.

BREAKFAST: Very good choice for myself. Cereal, Yogurt, Fruit, Toast, French Toast, Coffee. I never eat a cooked breakfast, but they looked wonderful. DINNER: Great Tbone steak. The fish was lovely as well. The entree choice was good, desserts lovely. ROOM: Extremely clean and well prepared for my stay. Lovely big room. Bathroom was wonderful and extremely clean. ACTIVITIES" Safari wonderful, early morning and Sunset. Close to other attractions.. Although I did not use the pool, it looked very inviting around the pool area. Loved the Fire pit at night on the deck. Lots of space on the deck. Thankyou to the staff.
