The lodge and it‘s infrastructure is excellent. The rooms are very nice, very well equipped and clean. The daily room maintenance was outstanding. Food and drinks were wonderful and very tasty. The game drives were like a dream and our young guide was highly motivated and has an unbelievable knowledge. Most important the staff people are super friendly and supportive. Our three days at Bush Lodge were amazing. The accommodation was perfect (we appreciated the private plunge pool and loved the large comfortable bed). The meals varied and delicious. Most of all were the six game drives with James (JD) at the helm. We saw a wide variety of animals including 4 of the Big 5. Thanks to a wonderful team for making our little vacation memorable.

A picture perfect camp on a fantastic game reserve. The camp was exactly as sold which is exactly what we wanted - rustic but homely and comfortable. You get multiple chances for drinks (alcoholic and non) and 3 meals a day which are very tasty. From start to finish we were made to feel welcome by the whole team who clearly love their jobs and are very passionate about conservation and all things nature. Our guides Lungi and Yohan were both incredibly knowledgable and friendly. Riaan’s bush walk was a particular highlight - what this man doesn’t know, isn’t worth knowing! We have all done safari before in different parts of Africa but all agreed this was the best experience we’ve ever had and will definitely look at coming back in the future.

We loved out time here. Our guide, Jesse, was knowledgeable and ensured we saw all the Big 5. He even managed to insert us into the middle of the elephant herd...they were within touching distance. The Reserve is in magnificent countryside...Africa stretching to the horizon. We loved the little touches - the early morning tea, the coffee and drinks breaks during the game drives, the cold towels to refresh us when we arrived back from our drives - all were wonderful. The elephants coming to drink at the pool at the lodge was the high point of our stay....they stayed for over an hour and Jesse was able to explain to hierarchy of the families under the protection of the Bull elephant....fascinating. The food was fabulous - great variety and all presented in gourmet style. The staff were superb. Renzo and his team work tirelessly to ensure everything is perfect.
