La ubicación de este camping es fantástica. Sirve como punto de partida para unas vacaciones en la parte sur de la isla de Oleron, junto a varios servicios de alquiler de bicicletas y a poca distancia, incluso caminando, de las playas de Gatseau y la Grand Plage. La cercanía de las marismas, del bosque, de las playas, las rutas en bicicleta desde el mismo camping, y sobre todo, la ruta desde Saint-Troyan hasta Le Chateau: desde el camping, pasando por Le Marais de Bris, luego el paseo marítimo de Saint-Troyan, el bosque, las marismas, el Petit Village, más marismas y finalmente Le Chateau. Una buena excursión en bicicleta. El camping propiamente, uno más al estilo francés estándar, pero las casas móviles están limpias, el entorno es tranquilo y sombreado, hay mucho silencio (algo habitual en Francia) y el personal de recepción es muy amable y eficiente.
