Heissa Hostel està situat a una illa a prop d’Aswan, fàcil d’accedir-hi amb ferri o barco privat. La Rihab va estar sempre atenta i pendent de que la nostra estada a la illa i, en general, a la zona d’Aswan fos perfecte, donant-nos sempre informació de com arribar als llocs, què fer, o per exemple ajudant-nos a organitzar la visita a Abu Simbel. També ofereix menjar en el mateix establiment per així poder gaudir de la màgia i la calma d’aquest preciós lloc establiment. Realment, ens vam sentir com a casa, com si fossim en família :) 100% recomanable! Tant de bo poder-hi tornar! A més, les postes i sortidea del sol són impressionants des de la terrassa

So much more than a hotel - Bassam and all his family make an incredible effort to welcome all guests as part of the family. The rooftop garden is so beautifully decorated, with lots of places to chill out and socialize with the other guests. Breakfast consists of a superb platter of Nubian/Egyptian breads and dips/cheese/jam, freshly-squeezed orange juice and Egyptian coffee. If you opt for dinner, every night you'll join the other guests for a home-cooked feast of Nubian dishes. After dinner, you can participate in the coffee ceremony, and enjoy live Nubian music played by Bassam and his family. Bassam can help you book tours and even join activities organized by　the hotel / family, such as camel-riding and sand-boarding. At the end of a day's activities, it feit like coming home - I was sad to leave.

Excellent hostel and extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by David ,He makes our trip more interesting with his advices & tips about the city ,supermarket ,shops,restaurants are within walking distance. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again David for going just that little step extra for the guests!!! David is a gem. He knows everything and will arrange or advise you the idea to explore city and around with least possible cost.

The staff is very friendly, available and helpful. The boat rides to and from Aswan (about 15 minutes) are beautiful. We enjoyed the quiet location in the West bank, between the Nile and the desert. Huge clean room with A/C, comfy bed. Delicious big breakfast. Nubian village accessible by foot. Very nice walks on the dunes just behind the property. Nice outside space.
