We had a warm welcome at the Historic Grand Canyon Hotel and instantly knew this was going to be a standout experience. The room was immaculate, with all new furnishings including a very comfy bed, nice hot shower and spotless bathroom. We received an excellent recommendation for dinner and it was 2 doors down from the hotel. Lovely gift shops, bars and restaurants are only steps from the front door. The owners are lovingly restoring this old gal and have done a stellar job so far - good luck with the project!

Exceeded our expectations. The hotel is tastefully decorated with lots of unusual details. Traditional radio & cassette player in room was novel. Public areas very relaxing and the food offered was very good. We would have planned to stay more than one night if we had known it was going to be this good.
