Staff was professional, attentive and pleasant. Hotel was just recently renovated, but kept the original elevator from way back - a nice touch and sth I had never seen before. Matress was quite stiff, but got the hang of it when combining with a memory foam pillow. Bathroom was big, shower was roomy. One more thing - room had windows which war super big, so it was very bright. LCD or OLED TV had Netflix and AirPlay.

The design features in my room (#3 with a terrace), were right out of Architectural Digest, and from what I saw of the other rooms, and the stunning roof terrace, where Monika, the owner and host extraordinaire serves a wonderful breakfast every morning, I could have spent the day. Her son David, an extremely professional craftsman, should be credited for the his designs and development coming to fruition, and he too was a pleasure to meet. I will always remember my three nights here, and I suggest that this is the best place to stay in Dolceaqua, with views beyond reproach, and a truly caring and accommodating host!
