Where modern heritage meets a warm Derbyshire welcome. Oakhill is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed (Georgian style) house built by the Arkwright family in the mid 19th century, as a private family dwelling.... The food was amazing. The staff were friendly.

Lovely cottage at Waterhouses, in a good position for visiting the peak district. Will come back in Summer for cycling and hiking. The cottage is well equipped with a separate kitchen. Very friendly hosts who gave us the keys in person despite our late arrival. Thank you for the nice stay.

We booked last minute for our mini moon and it was magical. The staff made you feel right at home, it was the most wonderful experience we will never forget. From the moment we arrived, to dinner to breakfast it was perfect.

Located in Buxton, 400 metres from Buxton Opera House, Roseleigh faces the Pavilion Gardens and lake and offers free WiFi. Very centrally located on the Broad Walk, overlooking the park and lake and just minutes walk from the Opera House, Pump Room, Crescent etc. Plenty free parking. Magnificent breakfast!

Natural beauty can be found close by in The Peak District National Park and in the traditional Yorkshire villages and countryside which surrounds Lyndene. The owner is very helpful and gave useful info about places around the town. Also as I came with my dog he gave her a sausage for breakfast!

The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including washing up liquid! It was very clean and modern. Tea, coffee and auger were also provided. The guidebook was very helpful for appliances in the app and the surrounding areas. The location is fantastic, central to everything and a stone’s throw to the local park. Note to other people staying - you can park around the edges of the Market Place all day without having to pay and display. The bike shop owner told us this the day we were leaving. I would definitely stay here again.
