Featuring panoramic views of Portofino Bay, Excelsior Palace is a luxury 5-star hotel offering 2 restaurants, sun terraces and spacious rooms, many with sea views. We stayed here for our 25th anniversary trip to Italy on our way from the Lake Como area and before visiting Portofino and the Cinque Terre and Tuscany. The hotel was very kind to upgrade us to a beautiful bay view with balcony. It was spectacular. We had a drink there and then ate in their restaurant, which was good. Breakfast was also very good and had lots of options. Espresso drinks were wonderful. I chose this hotel because it also had a nice gym, and I enjoyed it and its spectacular view. We were hoping to eat at the seaside restaurant and sit by the pool because the weather was in the 80s, but they were clsoed for the season. :( We visited Santa Marguirita Ligure, which was lovely, for lunch, and very close by.

Grand Hotel Miramare overlooks the Gulf of Tigullio at Santa Margherita Ligure. You will find a sun terrace and a salt water swimming pool in the tropical garden. The hotel is in a good location and staffs are so friendly and helpful. I left my iPhone when I checked out .They found it and helped me with delivery,thanks!

Hotel Palazzo Durazzo Suites is located in the centre of Genoa, within walking distance of Palazzo Reale, Palazzo Ducale and Via Garibaldi. Great service. Very attentive

This 5-star design hotel is set in a quiet tree-lined boulevard in a residential area in the heart of Genoa, a 10-minute walk from the main shopping street XX Settembre and city centre. We had an excellent experience at this hotel, the staff were so accommodating - we even got a free upgrade because we had two babies and even though we had a family room (with two beds) they felt that we would be comfortable in bigger room and we had a huge room which was very comfortable for us.

The Bristol Palace features an impressive elliptical staircase, leading to its elegant rooms. This historic building is in central Genoa, 100 metres from Piazza De Ferrari. Beautiful building and really clean. Staff were so helpful and very friendly.

Superb hotel ,great staff got room upgrade sea view, great kind and helpful staff . Great pool , Shuttle to the beach is of great value.

Set in over 16000 m² of tropical gardens, this luxury hotel is set on the seafront promenade, a 5-minute walk from Sanremo Casino. It features a modern spa and outdoor pool with large sun terrace. The hotel has a great location and the facilities are excellent. We did not dine in the hotel but the bar is great. Breakfasts are superb. The best thing about the property is the staff - they are friendly, helpful and there are so many of them! This is a beautiful traditional hotel where service is excellent and the grandeur impressive. If you like marble and columns old fashioned luxury and to be cossetted - then this is the place for you...
