A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Balmoral, The Meander Estate is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. I like the whole service, staff were friendly.the food was good, lots of flowers, the garden its so beautiful.

Located just 6.2 km from Lydenburg Museum, Mount High Luxury Stables features accommodation in Lydenburg with access to a terrace, barbecue facilities, as well as a housekeeping service. Beautiful accommodation in a wonderful setting. While we only stayed one night and arrived quite late, we saw monkeys, deer, and other wildlife. Bed was comfortable. Our drive to the accommodation was slow due to weather - the proprietor phoned us to make sure we were ok and stayed up late to ensure we arrived safely. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The location was beautiful. Trout fishing was an excellent bonus, son-in-law and grandchild enjoyed it immensely. Beautiful surroundings. Lovely guest house. Everything very classy and well kept. Will definately return with the rest of the family.

Set just 32 km from Ohrigstad Dam Nature Reserve, Ploughman’s Rest offers accommodation in Ohrigstad with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. So nice place to stay! We had a lovely time. We had booked a dinner that was very good, we sat outside in the evening, close to a small fireplace, the food and the expirience sitting there in the dark was magic. Very good breakfast, the owner, Daleen was very friendly and gave us great tips what to see in the neighbourhood. We traveled for three weeks in SA and this was our best guesthouse during the trip.

Set on a 270 hectare farm with 1 Trout dam and 1 Bass/Carp dam, Woolly Bugger Farm is located in the idyllic Tonteldoos Valley. A superb experience. We WILL be back and also stay longer :-)
