Situated just 23 km from Pico do Carvao, Casa Branca features accommodation in Lagoa with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. It was a perfect stay and would highly recommend it! Very clean and great location to visit the island with car. Big garden with a beautiful view. Lovely family. Would definitely come again, when I'm back at the Azores.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Urzelina, Casa d'Avó Guesthouse and Apartment is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. Carlos and his wife were the best hosts: from helping with check in, providing recommendations on trekkings, making sure everything was okay (rooms, breakfast). We truly felt welcomed by them. Everything was super clean and the view to Pico was amazing! Strongly recommend this place!

Beautifully landscaped and modern, comfortable furnishings. Each casita has big sliding glass doors onto their own private patio with views across to the island of Pico. Also the breakfast included amazing homemade breads, jams, yogurt, and juices and eggs from their own fruit trees and chickens - not to mention freshly made waffles - so delicious! The staff were so kind and helpful, and it was only a 6-minute walk into the little town where there were a couple restaurants and a small grocery store. We can’t wait to return!
