The breakfast was amazing - a large spread of wonderful choices. Miguel made the best eggs. The dining area was lovely and conducive to socializing with the very interesting guests. The Quinta was just outside of Tavira; which meant it was simultaneously convenient to town and very peaceful. The lodging, which was very attractive, spacious, light and clean, overlooked the gorgeous grounds, pool and orange groves. The hosts were so welcoming. Miguel was especially gracious in helping us plan our days. We intended to stay 4 nights and ended up spending 7.

Great hospitality. Amazing breakfast. Beautiful scenery, close to the Fisherman's trail. The outdoor fireplace was a great bonus surprise. Thanks for a lovely stay and experience!

Very kind and helpful staff, who treat guests like family. Absolutely kid- and dog-friendly place, very much recommended for anyone who would go on holiday with their pet. Also the food is amazing!

Loved this place. Welcoming host who accommodated an early check in and my vegan diet. Beautiful room with good views, very well appointed. Ideal if you are hiking the Rota Vicentina as it’s right on the trail. Would definitely stay here again.

Located in the Caldas de Monchique area, Quinta da Idalina offer far reaching views of the ridge and the sea. It is 1 km from the Thermal Springs of Monchique and 5 km from the town of Monchique. It has an incredible location with views down to the Algarve coast. It is set in grounds with gardens which are lovingly tended. The pool also has amazing views.
