I was travelling solo and always felt safe and Heather and Maria were outstanding hosts, even packed me a lunch for my drive to the airport!

Such a peaceful location, pastoral, rolling hills, bells of sheep, yet within easy drive to the coast and hiking trails. Genuinely kind and helpful staff; host Nelson couldn’t have been more helpful. Spacious, clean room and bath, comfortable bed. Generous breakfast.

Cerro da Campaniça features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Santiago do Cacém, 23 km from Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina. We cannot speak highly enough of our stay at Cerro da Campaniça! The room was beautiful, light filled and wonderfully comfortable, with amazing views. The host was incredible and is an excellent chef - the dinner and breakfast were delicious! He was also very informative of Portuguese history, food and farming - every conversation was an opportunity to learn. Even more appreciated was his understanding when we ran into health issues that impacted the length of our stay - he was super supportive and helped make a difficult situation much easier. Highly recommend staying here!

Featuring a year-round outdoor pool and a hot tub, Kuanza Farmhouse and Lodge is set in Zambujeira do Mar, 20 km from Sardao Cape and 33 km from Sao Clemente Fort. everything was 100%! location, people, breakfast, all the support they gave, just amazing

Located in the village of Brejinho de Água do Sul, a 15-minute drive from the town of Grândola, Monte do Brejinho de Água offers apartments with traditional and simple architecture. The owner was a lovely host and could not have been kinder. This is his families property for generations and his commitment and passion can be felt. He gave us very his tips, provided us with an ice bag to keep our wine chilled and accommodated my husband for his business calls in a quiet space. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom. Breakfast was very good and home made.

Set within 19 km of Sardao Cape and 32 km of Sao Clemente Fort, Herdade do Kuanza offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Zambujeira do Mar. Absolutely fantastic. The place is amazing, the house was very modern and we'll decorated and the staff, namely Assunção and Carmo, were extremely friendly and nice. Will return one day.

Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, the tranquil Herdade das Barradas da Serra is located in the countryside, 4 km from Grândola. Pretty much a perfect stay! Beautiful accommodation and setting, clean, quiet, very friendly, great breakfast, and we loved exploring the running/cycle paths within the grounds. The location was also ideal, being so close to Grandôla and Comporta for restaurants, beautiful beaches and local wineries.

Located 8 km from both Aljezur and Odeceixe, Quinta Pero Vicente offers rooms in a traditional white-washed house with a countryside location. This pet-friendly unit has free rental bicycles. We stayed for three nights at this magical, atmospheric place. The host Vitor, is friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable; he made us feel welcome and gave us many recommendations for the region’s beautiful spots and good restaurants. The breakfast, served in the garden, was delicious and included homemade jam, honey and cakes. Amazing place, highly recommended to nature, dog and cat lovers.
