The house was full of antique furniture as well as the room with nice balcony. In the old whine making facility there is a relaxing area with tv sit, pool biljart and table football. Of course a fridge with nice local beers. Plenty of walking tracks in the area as well as interesting city’s and waterfalls nearby. The owner Manuel and assistant (?) Antonio are very friendly and helpful. When we stayed there, there were no other guests, but felt like home so no problem. Another thing we loved was the breakfast in beautiful room with valley view . Plenty of delicious local cheeses, hams, jams, breads, fruits and coffee. Best start of the day!!! Will recommend this to our friends and family.

The property has beautiful energy felt like a piece of heaven on earth. Owners Paulo & Joana (outstanding human beings) and their extended animal family offered a warm, inviting, peaceful environment. So much to explore in the vast property and surrounding area of interest for those that like to travel off the beaten path.
