One wing of a sprawling historic estate was entirely renovated into spacious, modern, and elegant rooms with high ceilings and ample dedicated closet space. The bathroom was equipped with top of the line shower and accessories. Some antique pieces added to the character. Tasteful choices of wall colors, materials, bedding… A preserved massive old beam highlighted the all-wood cathedral ceiling. The decor combined the comfort of the new with the charm of the old. It was perfectly clean. Planning to return as soon as possible

For breakfast there are fresh products from the farm. Ideal for nature lovers. The host Alessia was very friendly and helpful.

Very close to the airport so it’s good location before or after a flight, but you are in a farmhouse so it’s very nice and pretty. Very nice shower. The owner was absolutely amazing and nice!!!!

This is one of the best places we've stayed. If you're planning to be in the area, do yourself a favour. It was so incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The gardens are filled with wildflowers, bees and cicadas. The old building has been extremely well renovated with modern functionality like smart security and automated gates and lights, while still maintaining the original style and infrastructure with rustic references to its past. Our upstairs room had a direct view to the old castle which looked quite amazing both morning and night. The breakfast is fantastic - wonderful Italian coffee of course, fresh local juices, cheeses and spectacular pastries all made on-site by the host, and when she offers you the omelette, just say yes. It's a fairly traditional old-style less touristy area so the host speaks little English, and our Italian is terrible, but she was extremely helpful and patient in explaining everything we needed to know, even using her phone to show us translations of important information, explaining all the local dining options and offering to make reservations for us.

Beautiful, recently renovated farm house, complete with all sorts of facilities. The rooms were clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff was amongst the kindest and most available I have ever met in my travels. The breakfast served was amazing! Everything was very good quality and prepared fresh. The cakes and cookies were something to die for. If you are visiting this area, I would recommend to stay at Cascina Mora Bassa whole heartedly.
