East Iceland – vyhľadajte si farmy

Set on a traditional Icelandic farm, Setberg Guesthouse is located outside of Höfn, a 14-minute drive from the seaside village centre. So clean, not a speck of dirt to be found. Felt like a lovely home from home with beautiful bathrooms and plenty of room in shared facilities. Even had toiletries in bathrooms for those that had none. Skuli the farm dog was simply the best dog ever. Stefan was amazingly friendly and we were so surprised when he came back into the guesthouse kitchen at night with fresh baked rye bread for the guests to eat. The perfect stay

Set on the most eastern fjord, Nordfjördur, this family-run farm stay is 7 km from Neskaupstadur town centre. It provides free WiFi, scenic country views, as well as horse riding tours on site. The check in process was very easy. Thea met us at the reception area, and showed us to our room. She also showed us around the guesthouse, so we could easily find everything that we needed. Our room was very comfortable, and spacious. The breakfast, each morning, was delicious. You could tell that everything was prepared fresh. We all were big fans of the homemade jams and biscuits. We loved being able to speak with the family and learn more about the farm and area. We booked one of the horseback riding tours, and Doddi took us out around the property. We really enjoyed ourselves, and he made everything more fun and easygoing. Doddi even taught us about a traditional Icelandic dance, which we attempted to recreate on horseback. We would recommend this guesthouse to anyone!
