All units have a kettle, while selected rooms include a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven and a stovetop. At the farm stay, each unit comes with bed linen and towels. Stayed one night and really liked apartment. Beds was good, clean and nice breakfast. I will stay again if travelling in this area.

The farm has a horse, sheep and rabbits. The place was just like expected and thus perfect. It was a cute agriturismo close to the worksite I needed to go to. I stayed in the studio next to the main building and with the bathroom and kitchen it had everything I needed. The kitchen was well equipped for my needs. Merja was very accommodating, especially for the only night I decided to enjoy the sauna!

Mäkelän Lomatuvat is a working farm with animals on the property. Staff can assist with bicycle, snow scooter and ski rentals, along with guided hiking tours in the surrounding forest. It was in a pretty location. The owners were lovely and engaging and the breakfast very good.

Quick communication from the host although we booked an hour before arriving was much appreciated. Unique stay in rural Finland. We found it when looking for a place to stay overnight while driving to Helsinki and it was the perfect B&B for one night. The building has old time charm and has all the basic amenities. Sauna and the little shed with fire were added bonuses!
