Stayed one night and really liked apartment. Beds was good, clean and nice breakfast. I will stay again if travelling in this area.

The farm has a horse, sheep and rabbits. The area was beautiful and calm, the cabin is comfortable and it was very nice and warm even during the cold spell of -30 C. The owners were very friendly and super helpful. The cabin is quite specious and had everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable. We had been traveling with our pets and they were welcome as well. We have been there during new year's eve and was hoping that the place will be calm and there won't be fireworks nearby and the place exceeded our expectations. We had a very calm night, would recommend it to someone who tries to escape the fireworks.

Mäkelän Lomatuvat is a working farm with animals on the property. Staff can assist with bicycle, snow scooter and ski rentals, along with guided hiking tours in the surrounding forest. It was in a pretty location. The owners were lovely and engaging and the breakfast very good.

Quick communication from the host although we booked an hour before arriving was much appreciated. Unique stay in rural Finland. We found it when looking for a place to stay overnight while driving to Helsinki and it was the perfect B&B for one night. The building has old time charm and has all the basic amenities. Sauna and the little shed with fire were added bonuses!
