The room was wonderful and the host and staff even better. We had a glorious dinner and were treated to a special tasting of local liqueurs by the host. We can not recommend Agriturismo San Gallo highly enough.

The place is in a secluded valley, nearby a water stream, barely accessible by car and immersed in the peace and silence of nature. The rooms and restaurant and all the facilities are beautifully decorated with carved wood and local crafts, every detail is special and all is planned to make guests feel at home. Two beautiful cats and two dogs live in the property, making pet lovers feel at ease and kids happy to play with them. Just outside the property, there is plenty of opportunities to take long walks on easy trails, completely surrounded by forest and fields. The restaurant serves amazing, locally sourced food and has an incredible wine list. In one word, this place is paradise!

El Agriturismo Al Palaz es un alojamiento ecológico que produce su propio vino, fruta, verduras y distintos tipos de mermeladas. Se encuentra en San Cassiano Valchiavenna, a 5 km de Chiavenna. Ester and Dario were amazing hosts even coming to pick us up when we were stranded at train station. Showed us all the restaurants in area and sent us to our room with a bowl of blueberries. They were so kind!

El Agriturismo Rini se compromete a preservar la tradición y el estilo de vida de la agricultura. Beautiful and clean room, it had huge wardrobes to put our luggage away, and the towels were great. Spacious balcony. Excellent breakfast buffet and delicious dinner. We really enjoyed out stay. The staff was nice, we got some tips on activities and they helped us with bike rentals. Great for families with small children.

El Agriturismo La Ca' Vegia se encuentra en San Cassiano y ofrece vistas a la montaña, wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratuito. Very nice agriturismo. On a farm with cows and calves, also a few cute and friendly dogs, some chickens, etc. It was alfalfa cutting time while we were there, and they were hard at work cutting the hay. It is a real working dairy farm and you can walk around to see the cows. There are several bikes of different sizes that you can use there to explore. The view of the surrounding mountains is just spectacular. There are chaise lounges where you can lay and just look at the mountains. The breakfast is huge and fresh and amazing--coffees and tea, yogurt (fresh from the farm, apple cake, cookies, fruit, fresh juice, cooked egg, cereals, bread, jam, butter, etc, all on your table for you. Room was comfortable and shower was nice. The building where we slept/ate is a historical postal stop from an era ago, I think for Italy/Switzerland. There are several rooms with historical artifacts and photos. Very charming. You can buy their dairy products on site from a vending machine (milk, yogurt, desserts, etc.), or also in town. Very easy check-in/check-out procedures. Short drive to Lake Como or Chiavenna. Also easy to access St. Mortiz, if you want.

El Agriturismo Bio Ca' Pianazòla se encuentra en Chiavenna y ofrece vistas al río, restaurante, recepción 24 horas, bar, jardín, parque infantil y parrilla. The place is gorgeous. The owner's daughter was extremely nice. Breakfast was great

El Agriturismo Al Castagneto está situado a 5 minutos en auto de Mazzo di Valtellina y ofrece un jardín y alojamientos con vistas a las montañas. The staff is wonderful. The owner and the employees went out of their way to make us happy.
