We had a very pleasant three-night stay--couldn't ask for better. The rooms are new and well thought out and designed. The location is an easy walk from the old town of Durnstein so you can get away from the busyness of the old town. If you're arriving by train, the station is right around the corner but the trains are quiet. Breakfast was excellent and prepared and served by Theresa, the owner. Theresa knows how to take care of guests. She answered any questions we had and made excellent recommendations for restaurants.

Una estancia excelente. Agradecer de corazón a los anfitriones por una estancia fantástica. A nuestra llegada, la anfitriona nos hizo un recorrido por las cuadras y por el prado donde estaban los caballos, después de enseñarnos nuestra habitación. Habitación sper amplia, con cocina, nevera, todo lo necesario. Cama doble y sofa cama amplio para los nenes. Super limpio todo tanto la habitación como el baño. Nuestros hijos estaban encantados, nosotros más aún. El desayuno al día siguiente delicioso, con productos de su propia huerta, y disfrutando del sol en la terraza con vistas. Una maravilla! Después del desayuno, contratamos una vuelta en carro tirado por caballos. Un paseo por el monte y los pueblecitos vecinos , encantador! El año que viene volvemos pero más días, merece la pena y además con la posibilidad de montar a caballo! Lo recomiendo al 100%. Muchas gracias por todo!!

We loved the place, the view from our balcony was just great - grasslands, forest, mountains as far as eye can see. Nice hosts. Simple, but quite tasty breakfast (payed extra). If you are staying there in the summer, definitely try swimming in the river in Göstling. (Free, a beach next to Ybbstaler Solebad. BWT, the payed place in Hollenstein is also amazing.) Perfect after a hike in the mountains.

The perfect place for those who want to combine all the possibilities of the Wachau valley. It's a small village, quite far from the Danube (8 km), but with a charming authentic family farm, clean air and amazing views. It's wonderful to start the day with a lovely breakfast, including farm produce, and the broad smile of the farm hostess. Thank you Christine!
