The location and views are amazing and the facilities are beautiful. The owner is wonderful. She goes to a lot of trouble to make her guests feel at home. The dinner was delicious and so was the port wine which we were welcomed to taste. All in all it was a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful experience at Casa do Santo for our 2 night stay. Maria was very hospitable, helpful, and knowledgable. The views of the Douro valley are beautiful. The small, quaint village is a quick drive to the Douro river with amazing views of the hillside vineyards. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again when we return to this area.

If I'm in the Douro Valley again, I will definitely stay in this quinta for more than one day. Building itself has been completely renovated and combines modernity and antiquity. A wonderful room with a view of the surrounding area, a comfortable bathroom and a coffee machine, tea and fridge in the room. Opportunity to walk around the quinta and village - the breath of antiquity in every stone and building, very calm place. Staff is very attentive, always ready to help and recommend something interesting (festa in Barcos village:) ). Amazing breakfast with homemade products (I still remember the taste of charlotte). Thanks for everything!
