This place was absolutely wonderful. Clean, comfortable and lovely. The room was nice, the view was nice, the house and the garden look so great. But nothing impressed me more than the owners. I've been traveling for 2 months now, each night in a different place, and I can say without a doubt that they were the nicest hosts I've encountered so far. Thoughtful, very understanding with some problems I had, so nice and welcoming. They even thought about my breakfast, and because they did not offer breakfast at their place, they recommended me somewhere close where I can go (without me asking). I was very impressed by their niceness. Also, free and safe parking in the private yard.

The unit has a large bedroom, living room with a sink and refrigerator, and a bathroom. There is air conditioning in both the living room and the bedroom. We were also given a tour of the Olive Oil Museum and a tasting of the wines and olive oils produced by D'Origem in their fantastic tasting room.

This was best experience ever, modern elegant house with the finest artistic touches. The best hosts one could dream of. Hospitality at it’s best. Fabulous breakfast, and the welcome Porto tonic ever. Too bad I can’t rate it above a 10, it is of the charts. A must stay in the Douro, better than staying in Pinhao. This is really what the heart of the Douro is.
