A perfect place to stay and experience the Douro Valley. Simply beautiful location, surroundings and property. Close to everything you want to see in the valley....vineyards, port tasting, rustic villages, boat trips on the river etc...etc.. Maria & Becas were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was traditional Portuguese and very nice...(could do with some vegetables though...:-)). Swimming pool was welcome after a long, hot day travelling around, as was walking round the vineyards and gardens. Loved our very short time there... thank you!!

Quinta de Santa Julia is an enchanting place. A fairytale forest greets you and opens up to the most exceptional view of the Douro valley. The 17th century villa, breathtaking views, and amazing infinity pool are not to be missed. Eduardo was charming and generous, the family history, tour, and port was an unforgettable experience. There’s no place like this in the world!

Beautiful four hundred year old Quinta, things have been kept in a period style with the rooms small and homely. The outlook is incredible over the vines.

The property is beautiful, very quiet and next to Quinta de Pacheca which we loved as well. The pool is great and the breakfasts were brilliant with lots of choice.

Amazing house, with beautiful bedrooms. Really peaceful spot. With gorgeous views of the river and the nature. Outside pool really well located and a cool inside pool. The owners are amazing and talented storytellers and hosts. The dinner was spectacular, the wine, the meat, all amazing.
