Outstanding place, we had the house for ourselves, which was wonderful, very comfortable, very quiet, it has so much to offer, all amenities, in the kitchen all provided, D Alice was waiting for us on arrival with snacks and wine, provided a great breakfast even checking on us if everything was good!Amazing view, a great balcony! Location was a bit far from the Aveiro, hard to find bolt or ubar.. Breakfast was ok but not interesting…

I loved the nature surrounding us. The weather was very hot but we were in a forest so we were cool :-). Also they were tons of nice places nearby to swim in the river or to hike. The persons managing the places and the staff were nice. The food was great. You just have to be prepared to wait a bit more because the service was slow. There were only one chef at night and one doing the bar for breakfast/snack. For me, it was perfectly fine to wait, it is just good to know if you come with small kids to prepare better ;-) It was the slow life which is perfect to relax and enjoy the surrounding ! I love the way the cabanes were built, how they were different and original. I love taking my shower in the outdoor cabine. This is very well thought. I was not very at ease with the frogs in the magnificent natural swimming pool but I got used to it. Finally I loved all the small wooden settings like the porch or the suspended deck near the pool , it gave a cozy aspect. It is a great place if you are looking for peace & nature. It is not a place I would recommend if you value confort above nature & quiet though. I personally loved it and my kids too.

Casa Ventura is special. A small farm from the 1770s has been expertly transformed into three beautiful guest rooms, each architecturally perfect. Stone walls, modern conveniences. Air conditioning and sparkling clean and comfortable bathrooms make it even better. The rooms are on the grounds of a family compound which is shared generously by the host family. Perfectly manicured lawns and a refreshing beautiful swimming pool are awaiting guests. We even played a little basketball and sat out on the patio near the shared kitchen and lounge. Finally, the host family is kind and friendly. We loved them!
