This rural tourism property provides a relaxing and natural surroundings. Vila Marim Country Houses has a total of 13 renovated rustic homes and features access to a natural outdoor swimming pool. The property is surrounded by vineyards and fruit trees.

Beforehand we asked for recommendations of Wineries and were provided with a whole list. All of them looked amazing and the one we picked was a true gem! The drive to the accommodation was scenic and upon arrival we were already glad we made the choice to stay there. The lady at check in was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. Turns out we were the only guests that night, meaning we had the whole place to our own which was amazing. The dinner at the property turned out to be sublime, with incredible staff to complement it and we fully enjoyed it. The Villa itself was spacious, spotless and had a great view over the vineyards. Breakfast was a treat and we are really hoping to come back. A huge thanks to the whole team for making it the experience it was!

A perfect place to stay and experience the Douro Valley. Simply beautiful location, surroundings and property. Close to everything you want to see in the valley....vineyards, port tasting, rustic villages, boat trips on the river etc...etc.. Maria & Becas were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was traditional Portuguese and very nice...(could do with some vegetables though...:-)). Swimming pool was welcome after a long, hot day travelling around, as was walking round the vineyards and gardens. Loved our very short time there... thank you!!

This family house in the Douro Valley is surrounded by vineyards and offers a seasonal outdoor pool. Its modern rooms are air-conditioned and have a small veranda with pool views.

Wooden floors, light fabrics and warm colours give each spacious room at Casa Relógio de Sol an elegant touch. They have extra long beds, an LCD TV and a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.

Just a fabulous place to stay. 5 star ⭐️ in every way. From the lovely welcome we had from Carla to the immuculate, beautiful and comfortable upstairs suite with its own balcony overlooking the pool and the vineyards, it was the very best place to stay. Everything is thought of, from the poolside beds, to the comfortable garden furniture provided to make your stay more relaxing. We enjoyed a delicious and very varied breakfast the next morning before setting off.

This was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Portugal. Every aspect of this farmhouse was perfect. The staff was truly above and beyond in every way, the food was insane (dinner, lunch and the breakfast spread). It was truly so welcoming and cozy. We also last minute got massages and they were incredible. Not to mention the breathtaking views that are truly above and beyond. Cannot say enough wonderful things!

Magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. The house looked lovely, a rustic combined with a modern look. The heating kept us warm even in very cold conditions. José was welcoming, lent a listening ear to troubleshoot and gave useful suggestions for trips.

Incredible location with breathtaking views of the Douro river and the surrounding vineyards. The farm house is very tastefully decorated and has a boutique feel which is both comfortable yet luxurious. The best part however is the staff who are incredibly helpful, sincere and attentive. Special mention for the restaurant that offered delicious options made with locally sourced ingredients and accompanied with wine directly from the vineyard.
