Spectacular place with a lake view. The place is perfect to disconnect and be surrounded by nature. Ana from the staff was amazing, very thoughtful and open to help. For sure will be a place to come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at verde agua. The owners have created a very special place that combines rustic farm stay with the comfort of a hotel. We stayed with our 3 kids who loved exploring the land, swimming in the pool and seeing the animals. We hardly left the farm as it was so relaxing there. Food options were delicious, healthy and all made from the fruits of their land. Eating outside every day was a real pleasure! The valley in which it’s situated is beautiful with lots of things to do locally. We look forward to coming back :)

The whole property is beautifully designed in the typical stone design. Everything is very modern and comfortable. The pool area is very nice with a stunning view. You can go kayak on the river which is a lot of fun. The breakfast is delicious and so plenty. Our room was nice with a comfy bed and small balcony overlooking the Douro river. The staff are lovely and helpful. So we definitely recommend Dourwin!

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation. The place is very remote out in nature, away from traffic. We had a hire car, which I would recommend if you want to explore and eat in neighboring villages. There are the Acrouca geosites and hikes nearby- you can find a map in reception, which were amazing and boasted many different terrains. The staff were extremely helpful and would help with recommendations, they even organized and picked up a cake for me for my partner's birthday, which was great! The breakfasts were wonderful and plentiful. We had some problems being vegetarian, but the staff helped as much they could.
