We lived in the authentic house/villa which was outstanding. Near the villa, there were many historical cars – old Porsches, Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz and others. We enjoyed the pool near the main building of vineyard with comfy sunbeds. The nearby little towns gave us very pleasant food experiences. Just ask the reception of the recommendations.

This is a unique property, attached to a church (would love to know the history) Lots of rooms, but it seemed we were the only people there. Tina met us there and showed us around the building and made us breakfast in the morning. Obrigada!

The house was wonderful - lots of space both inside and out. The property had everything we needed, from cooking utensils and BBQ (with coal) to pool towels and homemade wine. We even made friends with the local cat!

Everything. The location is incredibly beautifu, the breakfast is tasty, including the homemade cake and jams and freshly squeezed orange juice, the tennis court is fab, and an incredible location in which to play and Rosa and Laurinda were lovely and helpful.

They have Chefs restaurant in the hotel. Food there is very delicious, starters, main dishes and deserts. We tried a lot there and every dish was great. Also hotel has its own farm with various herbs, fruits and vegetables, that are used then in the restaurant. They also have very clean and relaxing SPA, which is free for hotel guests.

It is easy to get here from Porto on the train if you don’t have a car. The breakfast is brilliant and the food in the restaurant is very fresh and good. The spa is great and I really enjoyed my treatments. I had a river facing room and it was just stunning and a blissful place to switch off for a few days.
