If you are after an experience genuine and authentic, this is the place to visit. I visited with my family of 5 - my kids are 4, 8 and 10 years old. They were initially surprised as it was different from our other hotels, but they soon warmed towards their settings after meeting the family and it felt just like home to them. We were greeted by sufyaan who was so hospitable and helpful. We shown to our rooms. Rooms were excellent size and AC was already on which was super helpful. The double size bedroom has a little living room which leads to the shower room so you have ample space to keep luggage here but we used this room as a changing room. The shower room has good runny warm water and it was easy to adjust the settings unlike our last hotels. Please note that there are no towels or bathroom accessories so ensure that you bring towels, shower gel, flip-flop The second bedroom has 2 single beds, a private shower room and separate kitchen area. Kitchen area was super helpful as it it offers a stove, mini fridge/freezer and cutlery to make tea. After we had cooled down in our rooms, Abed (owner) and his wife pulled up in their car with their daughter. Their welcome felt like my family had just come home. They set out traditional tea for us and we sat in the foyer talking into late evening. More of their family arrived and umm Rashid shared photos and videos of her family. There is something truly special about staying here and meeting a family run business that is honest and works to improve the agriculture within their own community. It has honestly been one of my best experiences since visiting jordan and umm rashid's cooking was absolutely one of the best food I've tasted in jordan. She made us a dish with courgette and another dish made with okra ( all home grown). My kids are usually fussy eaters but they enjoyed her cooking too! Breakfast was prepared and served by Sufyaan and it was honestly the best breakfast I've had in jordan.
