The photos do not do this place justice! It is in an incredible setting with the surrounding mountains which was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The salt water pool is wonderful. The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly. Daughter, Sara, who speaks perfect English, gave us a little tour of the farm and introduced us to their sheep, chickens and geese which my daughters loved. Her brother gave us an interesting tour of his bee lab and showed us how they make their delicious honey. Their parents, Maurizio and Katia, were very welcoming - always around if needed but never imposing or in our way. There is a small on site restaurant, run by the family, and we had some delicious Tuscan dinners, out on the terrace, made from local produce including their own special tomatoes. The accommodations is basic but comfortable and clean. Fully recommend this place.

Paolo and his mom Pina were amazing! We had a relaxing and enjoyable time there. The place is nice, with a beautiful view. They cooked at night and breakfast.. and believe the food was totally great!! We had a nice relaxing time there and will definitely come back!!

Not only does it tick all the boxes you would normally tick for a first rate stay it is a beautiful and loved place and the family that run it are lovely people. Everything! The place, the owner, the location, the breakfast. The place was charming, relaxing, genuine, the owner runs the place and you can really feel her genuine and vibrant energy everywhere. The breakfast was super tasty and rich. Our dogs were welcome there, absolutely no stress about it be and around the house there are many options for morning walks so they enjoyed it as much as we did. It felt a bit like a trip back in time. Charming and genuine. Beautiful and more than I expected.

We had an excellent stay at the Valle De Medici. The place is ideally located to explore central Italy. It is in the hills towards the Appennino and remains quite fresh even when the weather is very hot. The swimming pool is a big bonus. From there you can explore Florence, Pisa, Bologna and many other places. Also, there is a variety of nice and not so expensive local restaurants around the place.
