This hotel was SUCH a surprise treat! My teenage son was performing at the Teatro Nuovo with his high school in Spoleto, and I booked this hotel because it had a pool. What I didn't realize was that it was a HUGE property with all sorts of animals (Donkeys, Turkeys, Chickens, Sheep...), a pool, tennis courts, futsal courts, volleyball, and more! The property was a little out of the way from Spoleto proper (about 15m) but it was absolutely spectacular. My youngest son fell in love with their dog Archie and frankly all of the animals. The owners could NOT have been more amazing! They helped us with our bags, had a lovely breakfast in the morning, and let us roam the property and hang out with all of the animals. We more or less had the property to ourselves as it was off season but there were 1 or 2 other couples there as well. We will absolutely come back to Spoleto and this spot will be our first choice!!!

Well kept grounds, lovely rooms, tasty restaurant, all together a perfect getaway and a short drive from many spots to visit in the area. the massage we booked with Annalisa was fantastic, professional and relaxing. We really enjoyed the beauty of the location for both the view and as a place to sit with our friends and enjoy a glass of good wine! Their dinner was excellent and we highly recommend it. The breakfast the next morning was particularly good in selection and quality. The room was very charming and there was plenty of hot water. The proprietors were very personable and helpful.

The place is absolutely astounding is the only words I can use to describe it because it is out in the middle of nowhere.... in the middle of nature where there are no sounds of city and sirens of police cars and fire engines and ambulances racing around... there is a perfect peace which rapidly takes over all your senses. 👌👍🤩🤩 Partaking in cooking with the owner in the kitchen for our own supper and learning the little Italian secrets...apart from his home grown beef in wonderful steaks, and the starters of pasta and their company while we ate and chatted over the history of the place, the family have been here for hundreds of years makes it a definite to return to if they are still there because eventually some generations do not want to continue the family tradition (understandable but sad). So strongly suggest you go there sooner than later if you wish to enjoy Augusto and his wife.... and his stories and food and the nature and the beauty and the quietness...
