it was my 2nd time here and we will definitely come back. Nice, quiet, relaxing place. Comfortable, very clean apartment equipped with everything we needed. The host is very kind and helpful. Montepulciano parking spots are within a few minutes by car. Very good location if you want to wonder around Tuscany and Umbria. Don't miss to taste the house's own wines and olive oil, they are high quality. I bet you will take home a few bottles :)

This is the second time we have stayed at La Fornace Apartments and it exceeded our expectations yet again. The location is magnificent with views of Montepulciano, stunning sunsets, and rolling hills. The apartment is clean, spacious, and has a wonderful shower. We choose to have breakfast at the main location each morning and it is a delightful breakfast, everything is fresh and there is something for everyone.

A swimming pool was available; it was clean and was well used and most enjoyable during the warm period that I was there. The Montepulciano township (historical area) is only a short (uphill) walk from the property. The property itself is set in a nice and relaxing rural/rustic setting. One could choose either countryside walks (of varying lengths) or historical township exploration.

Lovely old furniture and pictures in the apartment in fitting with the age of the property. A farmhouse at one time? The family were so helpful and friendly all the time. Nothing was too much trouble. The views from the swimming pool and breakfast terrace were to die for. The wine the family produced at 5€ a bottle was excellent. We wished we were staying longer.
