If you are seeking a serene, scenic and restful stay in Montefiascone then I would definitely recommend Agriturismo Le Casette Sul Lago. Carla is the most incredible and gracious host, who goes over and above to ensure all her guests are happy. We booked the Apartment with Lake View - it was spacious, clean, beautifully presented and served up the most stunning sunsets over the lake every night. Kitchen and bathroom facilities, wifi and air-conditioning were excellent and the bed was very comfortable! We stayed during Ferragosto, and thoroughly enjoyed spending the public holiday at Lake Bolsena. Carla was even kind enough to provide us with beach towels! Whilst the location is a short distance from the historic town, we park our car for free and walked our way through the medieval lanes - the inclines will lead you to stunning panoramas of the lake, churches, Rocca dei Papi and piazzas.

Having been to Italy before, I wanted a different experience while visiting family in Montefiascone. A working fattoria not only intrigued me but it exceeded my family's expectations. Living among small farm animals, and beautifully landscaped vines and fresh produce was an experience we will never forget. Being presented with their own homemade olive oil and wine, as well as a tour of the their caves on property were added bonuses. If we got too hot, there is an immaculately clean pool equipped with plenty of chairs and towels. But the best part of our stay were the hosts, Michele and Silvia. They treated us truly like family. No request was too much for them, and not only were they accommodating, but anyone they sent us to were the same way. They were always there for us on property, willing to make our experience the best it could be. We had the "Casella" and it was clean, roomy and had comfortable beds. There was an outside space were we could eat, with a gorgeous view of the town, including the town's famous Duomo. Michele was kind enough to give us a tour of not only their unique caves, but each accommodation as well. Each one was unique and I would stay in any one of them. Not only did we find a place to stay, we found memories that will last a lifetime and FAMILY!!! I can't wait to see Michele and Silvia again!!

The tent and the glamping area are beautiful. The Spa and the swimming pool both deserve a visit! We loved the location and Gianluca’s personal touch. Highly recommended!

Great hospitality, excellent and prompt service from the owners during my stay. I liked the location in respect with Montefiascone and the lake, and that It is surrounded by country. Highly recommended! Other point of interest the restaurant from the same owner at few meters from the apartments. Great menu and good wines list.

We enjoyed our stay at Lago Bolsena very much. The apartment was perfect, swimming in the lake super, just wifi did not work perfectly - but it was not the fault of the owner.

Fantastic location with a private beach. Just a 5 min drive from the center of Bolsena. The facilities were immaculately clean and the staff were warm and welcoming.
